Presentations of the budget smartphone Redmi A1+ with a 5000 mAh battery

The company ‘Redmi’ supplemented the ‘budget phone’ A1 presented last month for the Indian market with a new version with a ‘+’ sign. The novelty called Redmi A1 Plus is intended for the African market and is available for purchase in Kenya at a symbolic price of $85.

The phone launched on the market is the third Redmi smartphone based on the Android Go operating system in the last three years (after the 2019 Redmi Go and the above-mentioned Indian Redmi A1).

According to the assurances of Xiaomi Kenya speakers, it will be possible to buy the new product on official sales channels the day after tomorrow, October 7.

The ‘African’ A1+ differs from the ‘Indian’ A1 only in the location of the TouchID sensor (on the back cover). All other characteristics, starting from the HD+ screen 6.52″/120 Hz/400 nits and 3/32 GB memory – ending with 8/5/0.3 MP optics and a 5000 mAh battery, are absolutely identical in both devices .

Available body colors are black, green, blue. Weight in grams and dimensions in cm – 192 and 16.49×7.65×0.19, respectively.
