PrivatBank will resume accepting dollars and euros in terminals on June 22

State-owned PrivatBank, the market’s largest bank, which suspended acceptance of cash dollars and euros at its terminals in late May, will resume accepting them on June 22.

This is stated in a statement on the bank’s website.

It confirms that the suspension was related to the problem of accepting foreign banknotes with signs of significant wear or damage and banknotes of old issue. The financial institution notes that it is guided by the National Bank’s regulations on this issue.

Prior to its abolition in late May, PrivatBank was the only bank in Ukraine to provide customers with foreign currency acceptance at terminals
