Qualcomm has stopped selling products to Russian companies
Qualcomm announced on Wednesday, March 16, that it has stopped selling its products to Russian companies. The company joined the sanctions against Russia over the attack on Ukraine.
The information about the termination of Qualcomm’s work with companies from Russia was revealed by the senior vice president of the company’s relations with the government Nate Tibbits on Twitter in response to the comment of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.
The company later confirmed this information in its official Twitter account by retweeting the post.
What my colleague says below is absolutely the case. We are all aligned on the side of peace, sovereignty and democracy for the people of Ukraine. 🇺🇦 https://t.co/tki4pReAbc

Urging Qualcomm to stop deliveries to Russia, Fedorov said that Qualcomm products are still available in Russia. In response, Tibbits stated the following:
We comply with US sanctions and laws, we do not sell products to Russian companies.
Tibits also added that the company had made donations to charities to help the victims.
After that, Fedorov thanked the company’s management and asked to send Qualcomm satellite phones for Ukrainian rescuers.
Why it matters
