Realme will release a smartphone that can be fully charged in a few minutes

The Chinese manufacturer Realme talked about a new smartphone that can charge in half a minute. The developers said that this is the world’s first mass model of a smartphone with such an opportunity.

Xu Qi, vice president of Realme and president of the Chinese branch of the company, said that in less than ten minutes the gadget will be able to charge from 0 to 100%. And a 30-second charge of a smartphone is enough to watch a video that lasts an hour.

Here are the technical specifications the device will have. It is known that the smartphone will receive a 6.74-inch display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Also, the gadget will have support for PWM (pulse width modulation for adjusting the brightness of the display) with a frequency of 2160 Hz. The gadget will contain up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of flash memory, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 microcontroller.

Now about the cameras: the main camera of the smartphone will receive a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization, and the front one is designed for 16 megapixels.

Also, a charging cable designed for 12 A and 20 V (240 W) will be included in the basic kit with the gadget.

The official announcement is scheduled for February 9.
