The DIU aerial reconnaissance men received the Mara aerial reconnaissance complex, which has the ability to operate at low altitudes and in gusty winds.

The aerial reconnaissance men received a Mara aerial reconnaissance system from the Come Back Alive Foundation. The complex includes six drones, of which three are the main ones and three more are intended for rapid replacement in case of loss during combat. The complex also includes antennas for flight control.

The total cost of the reconnaissance complex is UAH 2,827,639.

“The Mara is a Ukrainian reconnaissance aircraft system that is distinguished by the fact that its UAVs can operate effectively at low altitudes and in gusty winds of up to 20 meters per second. The total weight of the complex is about 20 kg, so two drones together with a ground control station and antenna can be easily transported in a suitcase. This gives Mara operators maximum mobility and the ability to deploy quickly without the need for additional transportation.

The special feature of the Mara is that it can conduct reconnaissance behind enemy lines due to its ability to stay in the air for up to 90 minutes and high resistance to enemy electronic warfare.
