“Remade the Armed Forces”: Tula was attacked by “Spanish” Columba drones with explosives – Russian media
The Ukrainian military has increased the drone’s flight range and installed a K3-6 cumulative charge and 450 grams of C-4 explosive, the Russians claim.
On November 26, the Tula region of Russia was attacked by Spanish-made Columba drones, which were modified by Ukrainian engineers. This was reported on November 27 by the Russian media outlet Shot on Telegram.
Columba drones near Tula
According to media reports, on Sunday, the Russian Armed Forces shot down four drones over the Tula region, and one of them turned out to be a Columba manufactured by Spaitech. This UAV was equipped with a K3-6 cumulative charge and 450 grams of C-4 explosive. The combat unit was allegedly safely neutralized by bomb squad, preventing any damage.
This is the second time that Russia has announced the appearance of Columba drones on the territory of the aggressor country. According to the Russian media, the Ukrainian Armed Forces first launched Columba drones in Russia on November 16, when a resident of the village of Pasovo near Smolensk found one near his house, and the police found another in the forest nearby. Both allegedly carried a KZ-6 cumulative charge and C-4 explosives weighing about 1.2 kg.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are modernizing Spanish Columba drones at the Spitek enterprise in Odesa. They are converting them into strike drones and increasing their range,” Shot assures.
