Reznikov: German 155-millimeter ACS Panzerhaubitze 2000 is already in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Arsenal of 155-millimeter artillery units was replenished with German Panzerhaubitze 2000.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov told about it. Reznikov does not say how many installations we received, but according to the German government, it is 7. Of course, Germany not only gave us the Panzerhaubitze 2000 ACS, but also specially taught the Ukrainian military how to use them.

By the way, Panzerhaubitze 2000 is the 6th type of 155-mm artillery received by the Armed Forces. We also have the M777, FH70, M109, AHS Krab and Caesar.

Panzerhaubitze 2000 is a 155 mm self-propelled howitzer developed by the German concern Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. It was adopted by the Bundeswehr in the fall of 1998. It uses a 52-caliber (8 m) barrel, an automatic loading system with ammunition of 60 shells, 228 modular metal charges and a modern ground navigation system. The firing range of the Panzerhaubitze 2000 is 30-50 km (depending on the projectile).
