Rheinmetall to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with airborne tactical vehicles based on Mercedes-Benz G-Class (photos, video)

Rheinmetall is going to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Caracal airborne tactical vehicles.

The information appeared on the manufacturer’s website. We are talking about 5 cars. They are planned to be handed over to Ukraine at the end of this year or in early 2024. Caracal will most likely be used by the Special Operations Forces or Special Forces of the General Directorate of Intelligence. By the way, Ukraine will become the first operator of such vehicles.

Caracal is a German airborne tactical vehicle based on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV. The machine is manufactured by Rheinmetall. The Caracal has a 4×4 wheel configuration and a modular design. The machine is designed to perform special operations.
