Royal Caribbean International has released an official video showcasing the Icon of the Seas liner.

The cruise liner will be the first ship in history to use liquefied natural gas as fuel. But, in addition to this, the ship will have many other features.

Icon of the Seas will be designed for 5,610 passengers with two people in each cabin. As you understood, the number of cabins is 2805. The crew of the ship consists of 2350 people, and the maximum permissible number of people on the ship is 9950 people.

Royal Caribbean International says the ship will have 20 decks, a water park with seven pools (one of which will be suspended) and six water slides. Another feature of the cruise ship will be the presence of a waterfall. In addition, Icon of the Seas will receive four dozen shops, a concert hall, a jacuzzi and fountains.

The length of the ship will be 365 meters, and the displacement will be 250,800 tons. The construction of the liner has already begun. Icon of the Seas is expected to embark on its maiden voyage in 2024, a year after launching.
