Russia is on fire: a fire broke out at a fuel and lubricants warehouse in Stavropol (video)

According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, fuel oil barrels caught fire at the Eurobeton plant, and the fire was assigned the second hazard rating. The fire occurred at the site where car tires are recycled, Russian media reported.

A fuel and lubricant warehouse caught fire in Stavropol, and the fire spread to 500 square meters. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured in the fire, and 45 people and 13 vehicles were sent to extinguish the fire.

Rescuers said that fuel oil barrels caught fire at the Eurobeton plant in the Stavropol Territory. The Russian media outlet Shot reports that the fire occurred at a tire recycling site.

“At 11.20 a fire was reported near the Eurobeton plant in the village of Tashla, Shpakovsky municipal district, fuel oil barrels are burning, the fire was assigned the second rank,” experts said.

At 12:50 local time, the fire was localized. No one was injured or killed, 63 people and 18 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

As a reminder, on the night of May 4, tanks with oil products were on fire in the village of Ilysky, Krasnodar Territory, Russia. And on May 3, an oil storage facility in the village of Khvylia on the territory of Tamaneftegaz JSC also burned in the region.

According to the Russian media, in the first case, the facility was attacked by 4 drones, and in the second – only two.
