Russia ordered hundreds of drones and ballistic missiles from Iran – Zeit

A new batch is being prepared for shipment

Russian authorities ordered a new batch of kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles from Iran for use in the war against Ukraine. This was reported by Zeit with reference to diplomatic sources in the UN.

“According to our data, Iran plans to increase the supply of drones and ballistic missiles to Russia in significant quantities,” the interlocutor of the publication noted.

According to him, it is about “hundreds” of drones and missiles.

“I don’t think they’ve been shipped yet, but they’re definitely on the Russians’ order lists,” the diplomat said.

As reported, after a break of several weeks, Russia again used Iranian kamikaze drones against Ukraine on the evening of December 6 and the night of December 7.

Meanwhile, it became known that the Russian occupiers temporarily stopped attacks by kamikaze drones due to weather conditions, because Iranian equipment cannot withstand frost.
