Russia struck an Iranian kamikaze drone against infrastructure facilities in Ukraine

The Russian military used an Iranian strike drone against objects in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The incident happened on the night of September 15 in the Nikopol district. As a result of the impact, warehouses, buildings of several enterprises and a sanatorium were damaged. Judging by the photos, the Russian troops struck with the help of an Iranian kamikaze drone Shahed 136. In Russia, it was called ‘Geran-2’. By the way, this drone was spotted for the first time during the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

Shahed 136 is an Iranian kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle. It was presented for the first time in 2020. The declared flight range is 2000 km. The UAV is equipped with a triangular wing with stabilizers at the ends, a warhead, a propeller and an engine.
