Russians recruit children using smartphone games

Russian special services are recruiting children in Ukraine using mobile games. They are trying to get information about strategic objects from them. Oleksiy Reznikov reported this on Twitter.

The head of the Ministry of Defense listed in the thread the violations committed by the Russian army against the rules of warfare laid out in the resolution of the UN Security Council. According to Reznikov, data about strategically important objects was transmitted by children unconsciously as part of the game process.

Earlier it became known that employees of the Russian special services are trying to recruit schoolchildren. For example, the SBU recorded three such cases in Lutsk. Teenagers were detained while taking photos of military facilities. During the check, correspondence with subscribers from the Russian Federation was found in their smartphones.

According to Reznikov, the involvement of children cannot be considered an ordinary dirty trick. According to the customs of war, such actions qualify as a war crime.
