Russians report “liquidation” of Ukrainian saboteurs who allegedly infiltrated Bryansk region
The Russian Federation said that the FSB, the Interior Ministry and the Russian Guard had allegedly defeated a group of Ukrainian saboteurs who were allegedly trying to commit terrorist acts.
“The FSB, the Interior Ministry and the Russian Guard defeated a group of Ukrainian saboteurs consisting of SBU personnel, military personnel from the GUR and the Special Operations Service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry,” the Russian media outlet RIA Novosti writes.
According to Russian propaganda, Ukrainian saboteurs infiltrated Russian territory to carry out terrorist attacks on important military and energy facilities. It is stated that each of the saboteurs was carrying “a significant arsenal of various means of attack”, such as assault rifles, explosive devices and grenades.
“Two militants were killed and five detained during a battle in the Velsky district of Bryansk region,” the statement said.
It should be recalled that the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense about the destruction of boats with Ukrainian paratroopers on the night of August 30 in the Black Sea.
