Russians shoot down their own Mohajer-6 attack drone in Crimea (video)
A Mohajer-6 unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down by a Russian air defense system in Crimea. At the same time, the Russians claim that they managed to destroy the Ukrainian drone.
The local authorities immediately wrote that the Ukrainian drone was neutralized by an electronic warfare system. However, the wreckage makes it easy to see that the downed drone was an Iranian-made Mohajer-6.

In the war against Ukraine, the Russian Federation has been using at least three Iranian drones since 2022. Mohajer-6 is very rare. Much more often, Russians launch Shahed-131 and Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.
Mohajer-6 is a relatively new unmanned aerial vehicle. It was developed in 2017. At the end of September last year, the Ukrainian Navy managed to capture the first such drone. As it turned out recently, he was shot down from a boat.
#Ukraine: The list of Iranian drones used by the Russian army keeps growing – the Ukrainian Air Command “South” reported the downing of a Mohajer-6 UCAV in the South.

The strike drone is equipped with a Rotax Aircraft Engines powerplant and can reach speeds of up to 200 km/h. The maximum flight altitude is over 5 km. An 8.5 kg Ghaem aircraft bomb was found in the seized drone.
