Samsung Galaxy S25 power will be comparable to a PC

Smartphones from the Galaxy S24 family will be equipped with Exynos and Qualcomm chips. The South Korean corporation plans to install a fourth-generation Snapdragon 8 in the Galaxy S25 line. A special feature of this microprocessor will be Nuvia cores, which it will receive instead of the usual Kryo.

North American chipmaker Qualcomm has taken over Nuvia to develop processors for PCs. The semiconductor manufacturer wants to make Windows Arm laptops more powerful so that they can compete on equal terms with Apple laptops on Apple Silicon platforms.

According to SamMobile, the new processor will have four small cores and two large ones. They will be called Phoenix. The fourth-generation Snapdragon 8 will be produced by Taiwanese company TSMC. It plans to use the 3nm N3E process for their production
