Samsung shows a smartphone that can be worn as a wristband
Do you know what is most annoying about modern smartphones and laptops? Monotony!
Every year it’s the same: the screen is a little bigger, the camera is a little better, and the gadget itself is a little more expensive. Boredom! This is also understood in large companies, which is why Motorola, Lenovo, and Samsung are looking for ways to surprise us.
The latter even managed to do so. Samsung showed a concept called the Cling Band, a mix of a phone, smartwatch, and fitness tracker that bends and wraps around your wrist.
Who needs it? That’s a good question. Smartwatches are getting smarter and smarter, but they still have tiny screens and it’s a pain to write anything on them.
Now imagine a huge touchscreen right on your hand – you can scroll through photos, surf the Internet, and type messages on Telegram much more easily!
And where Samsung is, other companies often find themselves. The trend with foldable smartphones is worth a mention. This means that if the Koreans do release the Cling Band as a mass product, we won’t have to wait long for a similar product from a conventional Motorola or Xiaomi.
