Earlier, Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, confirmed during a telethon that the Defense Forces had hit the Russian reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

As for the Ivan Khurs, we can confirm that reconnaissance equipment in the stern of the ship was damaged. In fact, it is not combat-ready and cannot perform its intended tasks.

The Ivan Khurs ship is designed to provide communications and fleet management, conduct radio reconnaissance and electronic warfare, and monitor components of the US missile defense system. Yoo was launched in 2018.

It is worth noting that this ship was already attacked on May 24, 2023 by three naval drones. The Russian Defense Ministry said that all three were destroyed. According to their version, the ship was not damaged.
