Scanjack 3500 – Swedish armored giant capable of defusing mines at a depth of up to 40 cm

Swedish engineering prowess is once again impressing the world, this time with its advanced demining system, the Scanjack 3500. This armored giant-like machine has the unique ability to detect and defuse both anti-tank and anti-personnel mines at depths of up to 40 cm, setting a new standard in mine clearance. Thanks to its dual chains, the Scanjack 3500 can clear 10,000 to 30,000 m2 in a single day, ensuring safety in the most hazardous environments.

Tested by the Swedish Armed Forces, this vehicle has demonstrated extraordinary effectiveness, achieving 100% success in defusing anti-tank mines and 98.2% in defusing anti-personnel mines. Even tests with mines weighing up to 10 kg have shown that the Scanjack 3500 is able to withstand explosions with minimal damage.

This 14-meter, 40-ton machine is equipped with a powerful six-cylinder diesel engine and an optional Scania V8 engine, ensuring reliability and endurance in demining. With a speed of 0.2 to 1.5 km/h and a fuel consumption of 60 to 80 liters per hour, the Scanjack 3500 is a model of efficiency in action.

Joystick control from the cab and a specially reinforced chassis to protect the driver make this machine not only a powerful demining tool, but also a safe workplace. The Scanjack 3500 is the epitome of Swedish innovation and dedication to safety, making it an invaluable asset in modern demining missions.
