Shazam has learned to identify songs from YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
The Shazam app can now detect songs from YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, but not on all operating systems

Apple releases an update for the Shazam program that helps identify songs. Now, in addition to recognizing songs using the microphone, it can also recognize songs on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
“In the latest update (v15.36), the company described the process of identifying a song in any of the aforementioned apps,” the statement said.
Shazam allows the user to recognize an unknown melody playing on YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok. Simply open the app, click on the blue button, and navigate to the desired application.
The feature is available on iOS, while on Android phones, users must first grant permission to listen to audio from other apps.
In December 2017, Apple acquired music recognition service Shazam, which, according to media reports, cost the company $400 million.
