The Security Service of Ukraine conducts searches at the home of MP Nestor Shufrych, who is allegedly charged with treason. On the morning of September 15, law enforcement officers visited his apartment.
This was reported by the editor-in-chief of Censor.net Yuriy Butusov.
Sources in the SBU reported that Shufrych was not detained, but his house was searched. They confirmed that the MP is suspected of treason.
What is known about the searches
In addition to the fact that the odious politician Shufrych is known for participating in fights in parliament, it has also become known that he worked closely with former MP Volodymyr Sivkovych, who is associated with the Russian FSB.
Intelligence sources emphasize that Sivkovych coordinated the work of Russian agents in Ukraine. In addition, he supervised the work of the former head of the Crimean SBU, Oleh Kulinich, who was detained last year.
Thus, on the instructions of Sivkovych, Shufrych was one of those who spread pro-Kremlin propaganda in Ukraine. For example, Shufrych called our country a so-called “artificial formation.”
