Skoda will present a new electric crossover

Skoda Elroq will be an electric alternative to the Karoq crossover. The model will offer a long range and may receive a charged version of vRS.

Skoda is developing a new stylish electric crossover that can receive a charged version of the vRS. This was reported on the AutoExpress website.

Skoda is preparing six new electric models that will enter the market by 2026. One of these new products will be the Elroq crossover.

Skoda CEO Klaus Zellmer said that the charged versions of the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe with the vRS prefix are in great demand. That is why the brand intends to expand the line of such models.

Designers have imagined what the Skoda Elroq vRS might look like. The electric crossover will have unusual front optics and will be inspired by the charged version of the Karoq model.

The Skoda Elroq vRS will be powered by two electric motors with a total output of 300 hp and 460 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h will take approximately six seconds.

The electric crossover will be equipped with a 77 kWh battery. This will provide a range of more than 500 km on a single charge.

Skoda Elroq is expected to enter the market in 2024. A year later, a charged version of the vRS may debut. According to rumors, the initial cost of the electric crossover will be $43,000. The vRS modification will cost at least $56,000.
