Slovakia will provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with smart equipment: a robotic demining machine with artificial intelligence

The Slovak company CSM Industry will supply Ukraine with an improved version of the UOS 155 Belarty II demining machine. This version can work in a fully robotic GPS model with artificial intelligence.

The UOS Bellarty is equipped with a demining device and is a hydraulically controlled system designed to carry out engineering and demining operations to clear anti-personnel and anti-tank mines using a mine trawl. The crew consists of two people: an engineer and a driver.

The telescopic boom mine clearance system allows to defuse anti-tank mines even in hard-to-reach places and terrains such as slopes and ditches. In addition to demining, the machine can be used for engineering work with a full set of additional devices. The vehicle can be a lifting device with a lifting capacity of up to 7000 kg.

The T-55 tank chassis is equipped with a John Deere diesel engine. With an operating weight of 39900 kg, the machine can reach speeds of up to 10 km/h off-road and up to 30 km/h on paved surfaces. The average fuel consumption is about 330 liters/100 km.
