“Smartphone of the future” that doesn’t need a screen: a new product that will cost $699 is presented in the US

The American company Humane is going to release its first wearable device, AI Pin, which is a smartphone without a screen.

This $699 device can be attached to clothing or other surfaces using a clip magnet, which also doubles as a rechargeable battery. Pin is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and uses various sensors to track and record the environment. It has a built-in speaker and can connect to Bluetooth headphones.

Interaction with the Pin device takes place without a screen. There is a voice device and a green laser projector that can project information on the hand. You can also interact with the device using gestures and the touchpad. The pin is activated manually. The project offers an additional Humane subscription for $24 per month, which includes a phone number, artificial intelligence stickers from Microsoft and OpenAI, cloud storage for photos and videos, and unlimited queries to artificial intelligence models.

The device’s operating system is Cosmos, which works as a more holistic system that can call various AIs and other tools. Pin can write messages, summarize emails, translate languages, and recognize food to provide nutritional information. There is also Tidal music streaming functionality with music selection based on the user’s context. Pin also has artificial intelligence-oriented photography features.

The official announcement of the device will take place on November 9.
