‘Soon in the sky of Ukraine’: Danilov hinted at the supply of F-16 fighters for the Armed Forces (video)

The intriguing post of the Secretary of the National Security Council appeared after the statements of the White House and the Pentagon, which do not deny the sending of aircraft for the needs of the Armed Forces.

The Secretary of the National Security Council, Oleksiy Danilov, reacted in an original way to the news about the possible supply of American F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. The corresponding publication appeared in the official Facebook account of the top official.

In particular, Oleksiy Danilov reacted to the statements of the White House and the US Department of Defense that the allies are ready to discuss the possibility of supplying Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council hinted at the positive decision of the United States to send aircraft, publishing on his Facebook a reference video about American planes.

‘Soon in the sky of Ukraine,’ Danilov captioned the video, hinting at a possible supply of F-16 fighter jets.

Oleksiy Danilov’s intriguing post appeared the day after the US Defense Ministry did not deny the possible transfer of F-16 fighter jets. During a briefing held on January 26, Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh stated that Washington has never drawn a line in providing military aid to Kyiv.

‘We are now training the Ukrainians on the Patriot complexes. We have seen how they have made incredible use of some of the air capabilities that have been provided not only by us, but also by other partners,’ Singh continued, adding that the Pentagon does not intend to release information about military aid packages , until they are announced by President Joe Biden or the US Department of Defense.

Moreover, on January 26, the White House talked about the possible transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. John Feiner, the deputy national security advisor of the presidential administration, noted that the United States, together with its allies, is ready to ‘very carefully’ discuss the issue of the supply of aircraft for the needs of the Armed Forces.

The official of the White House repeated the thesis of his colleague from the Pentagon and stated that the official Washington never denied sending any type of weapons and tried to adapt the military aid to the phase of the war where the Defense Forces of Ukraine are located.

A few days earlier, information appeared in the Western media that Ukrainian diplomats with allies from the Baltic states are actively lobbying for the supply of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
