SpaceX has launched 53 Starlink satellites into orbit. For the second time in a day

The interval between launches was 22 hours and 33 minutes

Yesterday, SpaceX launched 53 Starlink satellites into low orbit, and today the Falcon 9 rocket, which launched from the LC-40 launch pad at Cape Canaveral, Florida, sent another group of 53 Starlink satellites into orbit. 22 hours and 33 minutes elapsed between these two launches.

And while Starlink’s speed is impressive, it’s not a record for SpaceX itself: two consecutive launches of 15 hours and 17 minutes at the end of last year. Today’s Falcon 9 flight is the twentieth for the rocket this year, the 29th rocket launch in the United States this year, and the 54th rocket launch in the world this year.

To date, SpaceX has launched 2,600 Starlink satellites in 48 missions. 2321 satellites of the orbital group are in working order.
