SpaceX has finally sent a Cargo Dragon cargo ship to the International Space Station (ISS). The mission was supposed to take place last week. The postponement is due to bad weather.
The ship was sent into space using a Falcon 9 rocket, which was launched from Launch Complex 39A at Cape Canaveral, Florida. After about 9 minutes, the first stage returned to Earth and landed in the Atlantic Ocean.

Cargo Dragon delivered 3175 kg of cargo to the ISS. The ship transports life support, provisions, research equipment and tools to keep the ISS in working order.

Interestingly, Cargo Dragon also delivered part of the cargo from Cygnus NG-19. This is due to the fact that the Northrop Grumman cargo ship will not be able to go to the ISS on time (the launch was scheduled for July 2023).

Taking this mission into account, SpaceX has already sent four Cargo Dragon vehicles to the ISS. In total, since the beginning of 2023, Elon Musk’s company has made 38 successful launches.
