On October 29, 2023, SpaceX launched 22 Starlink Internet satellites into orbit from the Vandenberg Space Force Complex in California, Space reports.

The Falcon 9 rocket was launched at 11:00 a.m. Kyiv time. The first stage of the Falcon 9 returned to Earth about 8.5 minutes after launch on the automatic platform Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean.

This was the seventh launch and landing of the first stage of this rocket.

The 22 Starlink Internet satellites entered orbit from the upper stage of the Falcon 9 approximately 62.5 minutes after launch.

This launch was to be the first of a double series of SpaceX launches, as the company planned to launch 23 more Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Spaceport in Florida on October 30 at 01:45 Kyiv time.

However, SpaceX had to postpone the second launch due to a problem with the Falcon 9 rocket’s stage separation system.

The company plans to try again on October 31 at 01:20 Kyiv time.
