SpaceX launches 23 Starlink satellites during the 300th mission (video)

SpaceX has launched 23 Starlink Internet satellites into orbit using a Falcon 9 rocket, Space reports.

A Falcon 9 carrying 23 Starlink satellites was launched from Cape Canaveral Spaceport in Florida on January 15 at 03:52 Kyiv time.

The first stage of the Falcon 9 returned to Earth about 8 minutes after launch, successfully landing on the A Shortfall of Gravitas automatic platform in the Atlantic Ocean.

According to SpaceX’s mission description, this was the 12th launch and landing for this launch vehicle.

The upper stage of the Falcon 9 continued to launch 23 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, deploying them there approximately 64.5 minutes after launch.

The January 15 launch was the second part of a double Starlink launch, as SpaceX also launched a batch of Starlink from California’s Vandenberg Space Force Base on the morning of January 14.
