SpaceX launches new generation of Starlink terminals with advanced Wi-Fi 6 for even faster connectivity

The Tech Outlook reported that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has published a description of a new version of Starlink Gen 3 satellite Internet terminals.

According to observers, if a device is included in this database, it means that it will soon become available to the end user. The new routers support the faster Wi-Fi 6 communication standard, while the current Gen 3 version provides support for no higher than Wi-Fi 5.

The new Starlink routers are described as low-power WLAN devices, and should get two LAN ports and a new power adapter. The devices will reportedly provide high data transfer rates with less bandwidth congestion and extended range.
