SpaceX postpones the launch of a “mysterious” spacecraft for the third day in a row

SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket, which carries the X-37B reusable unmanned spacecraft, has been unable to launch for the third day in a row. What’s the problem?

Initially, the launch was scheduled for December 11, but SpaceX postponed the launch due to a problem in the ground system and rescheduled it for the evening of the 12th.

On Tuesday, SpaceX announced that it would not launch on that day and postponed it to Wednesday. Elon Musk’s company emphasized that the additional time will allow the teams to complete the system checks.

On Wednesday, SpaceX announced that it would postpone the launch until the “next best opportunity” and was closely monitoring the weather.

The X-37B was to embark on its seventh flight, during which it would undergo secret tests. It is not known how long the reusable unmanned spacecraft developed by Boeing for the US Air Force will stay in orbit.
