Today, May 13, SpaceX launched and returned its Falcon 9 rocket to Earth for the two hundredth time. As a result of the flight, 72 small satellites were launched into Earth orbit, including cubesats, microsats, a re-entry capsule, and orbital vehicles carrying spacecraft.
The launch took place at 00:35 Kyiv time from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California as part of the Transporter-8 mission. The rocket’s first stage returned to Earth in just under 8 minutes. after the launch, as planned.
The first flight and landing of the Falcon 9 took place in December 2015.
