Supply of ATACMS missile systems: Biden says all Ukrainian President’s demands were met
The United States has fulfilled everything that President Zelenskyy recently asked of it.
This was stated by US President Joe Biden.
President Biden was asked whether he had promised Zelensky to give ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.
In response, Biden said that he had spoken to Zelenskyy and that everything he asked for “the United States has done.”
ATACMS for Ukraine
At the end of September, Newsweek reported that Ukraine would soon receive the green light to receive US-made missiles with long-range cluster munitions. This includes M26, M26A1 and M39 missiles with a range of 36 km, 45 km and 160 km, respectively.
Other Western media outlets have previously stated that the issue of the transfer of long-range ATACMS has moved forward. During a meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Joe Biden, the latter informed the Ukrainian leader that the United States would provide a small number of ATACMS missiles, NBC News reported.
