Why was it important to strike this particular point, and what was the second ship that sank after the attack

Satellite images showing the waters of the temporarily occupied Feodosia as of December 5, 2023 and December 26, 2023 have been made publicly available, and show, among other things, the remains of the racist Novocherkassk landing ship destroyed yesterday as a result of an Air Force strike.

The fact that the ship continued to smoke even after sinking may support the version that there could have been Shahids or long-range missiles on board the Novocherkassk. However, if we take a closer look at these pictures, we will see even more interesting details.

For example, the fact that in the picture of December 5, 2023, we see a Project 775 landing ship at the same berth in the port of Feodosia does not mean that Novocherkassk was there for a month. Quite the contrary – that throughout December, a kind of “express” was operating in this temporarily occupied port, using racist military transport vehicles that delivered military cargo to Feodosia, which the occupiers needed.

Moreover, we can also see that an extensive network of railroad tracks leads to the berths in the port of the temporarily occupied Feodosia. This, in turn, can simplify both the process of unloading enemy ships and the process of delivering cargo through the temporarily occupied Crimea and further to the South.

The version about the “explosive” cargo on board the Novocherkassk is also confirmed by the fact that the infrastructure of the berth near which this enemy VDK was standing was essentially destroyed, and clearly by the blast wave.

Satellite images from early December this year clearly show that in addition to amphibious assault ships, the occupiers have deployed several patrol ships in Feodosia harbor. By doing so, the enemy turned the port of Feodosia into its military base, and thus into a legitimate military target.

In addition, the following became clear from these images. After the first reports of the sinking of the Novocherkassk, there were “signals” that the strike could have sunk a second enemy ship. Some time later, Radio Liberty journalists suggested that the second destroyed unit was only a training vessel UTS-150, which had been standing there without movement for several years. And the above satellite images confirmed this assumption.
