Tank bombed and crew scattered: Ukrainian Armed Forces shoot down occupants’ latest T-90 near Avdiivka (video)

In the area of Avdiivka, fighters of the 47th separate mechanized brigade hit a state-of-the-art Russian T-90 “Proryv” tank with an FPV drone.

The corresponding video was published by the press service of the connection.

The military says a company of attack drones hit a T-90M with a drone.

The recording shows the damage to the combat vehicle, after which it began to “drift” and crash-land.

The tank crew managed to survive, the occupiers abandoned the T-90 and fled the battlefield.

“We promise to catch up with them,” the statement said.

The 47th Brigade is holding the line on the northern flank of the Avdiivka sector near the railroad. The fiercest fighting is taking place in the areas of Stepove and Avdiivka Coke Plant.

The T-90M Breakthrough is a modernized version of the Soviet T-72 tank. Russian propaganda has repeatedly called it “unparalleled in the world” and “the best on the planet,” which has been questioned by independent experts. In 2020, Russia claimed that only 100 such tanks were produced. The cost of one “Breakthrough” is about $4.5 million.
