Telegram launches stories for all users
Telegram introduces stories feature for all users on the occasion of its tenth anniversary
This was announced by Telegram founder and owner Pavel Durov.
“With numerous updates and improvements over the years, Telegram has redefined what a modern messaging experience should be. The next step for Telegram is to go beyond messaging and lead social media innovation in general. Today’s gradual rollout of Stories to all users marks the beginning of this new phase in Telegram’s history,” Durov said.
He added that the messenger has gained 800 million active users since its launch.
As a reminder, the stories appeared on Telegram in July. The feature was available for Premium subscribers. Others could view and comment on them.
