Tesla Model 3 became the most popular used car in Ukraine
We are talking about relatively “fresh” used cars that were first registered in Ukraine. Namely, cars less than 5 years old.
In the first quarter of 2024, Ukrainians purchased almost 14 thousand cars. of used cars imported from abroad that are less than 5 years old, according to Ukravtoprom.
Since the beginning of the year, 55.5 thousand people have registered for the first time in Ukraine. used cars. Thus, cars under 5 years old accounted for a quarter of this number.
Imported used cars up to 5 years old accounted for the largest share in the segment:
- Electric cars – 40%.
- Gasoline cars accounted for 39%;
- Diesel – 10%;
- Hybrid – 7%;
- Cars with LPG – 4%.
Used cars up to 5 years old, which joined the Ukrainian car fleet in the first quarter, were in the highest demand:
- Tesla Model 3 – 898 units;
- Tesla Model Y – 870 units;
- Hyundai Kona – 453 units;
- Nissan Rogue – 444 units;
- Mazda CX5 – 443 units;
- Volkswagen iD.4 – 421 units;
- Volkswagen Tiguan – 420 units;
- Volkswagen Golf – 354 units;
- Audi Q5 – 268 units;
- Jeep Compass – 266 units.
