According to the publication, Tesla is recalling 120,423 Model S and X vehicles manufactured between 2021 and 2023 due to this potential issue, which violates federal safety standards set by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Tesla has already released a free software update to address this issue, and written notifications to owners are scheduled to be sent out in February.
