The Armed Forces of Ukraine allowed 7 samples of Ukrainian drones into operation

In the last 30 days, 7 samples of Ukrainian-made drones were admitted to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.

According to him, on September 30, at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, the Government adopted Resolution No. 1097, which simplified the procedure for admitting anti-aircraft weapons to use in the Armed Forces.

And if earlier the army accepted 1-2 samples of drones per year, then in the last 30 days, as many as 7 samples have been accepted.

“To simplify interaction with manufacturers, a site has been created where every developer who has a ready-made product can submit an application to the Ministry of Defense for admission to the operation of their product. “Official admission to operation means that the Ministry of Defense can purchase products, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine can put them into service,” explained Reznikov.

Currently, 19 more applications for admission to operation of Ukrainian-made UAVs are under consideration. Decisions on them are planned to be made by the end of the year.

“Given that today the UAV is purchased by the Ministry of Defense with budget funds, the United24 fund and various volunteer organizations, in fact every developer who has a real product can find resources,” added Reznikov.

In addition, on December 6, the Minister signed an order on the adoption of the automated system of the Operational Control Center (DKR “Dzvin-AS”).

“Army of Drones”

In October, as part of the “Army of Drones” project, Ukraine contracted 11 PUMA-LE drone complexes worth over 540 million hryvnias.

These drones cover a distance of up to 60 km. They are in service in 18 countries of the world, including the USA, Great Britain, Germany and France.

In the same month, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 20 Warmate attack drones, and another 20 were delivered to the front in September.
