The Armed Forces of Ukraine are armed with trophy guns KS-19

The Ukrainian Armed Forces began using 100-mm anti-aircraft guns to strike the enemy. These are KS-19 guns, which were mass-produced in the late 40s.

According to experts, the KC-19 guns could have been captured during the counteroffensive operation in the Kharkiv region. At the same time, they do not rule out the option of removing the KS-19 from storage.

Despite its venerable age, the K-19 cannon is a very effective weapon. It can fire 15 shots per minute. The range of projectiles when striking ground targets is 20 km. The Armed Forces of Ukraine use anti-aircraft guns to engage targets with direct fire.

It is unclear where the shells for the KS-19 come from. In the published photos, you can see a soldier holding a UOF-412 ammunition made in 1962. Experts do not rule out the possibility that the scarce Soviet shells could have been supplied by Bulgaria. At one time, its army was also armed with KS-19 guns.
