The Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down two Russian Lancet-3 kamikaze drones
Ukrainian servicemen destroyed two Russian Lancet-3 kamikaze drones at once.
Both barrage munitions were shot down in the Mykolaiv region. This is reported by the operational command ‘South’. Kamikaze drones tried to attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Note that the Armed Forces have already destroyed at least four unmanned aerial vehicles of the ZALA AERO GROUP company. For the first time, it became known about the downed drone in mid-June, and about the second – a week and a half later.
‘Lancet-3’ is a barrage munition that can fly in horizontal flight at a speed of 110 km/h. The range of the UAV is 40 km. When attacking a target, the kamikaze drone develops a speed of 300 km/h. The drone weighs 9 kg and can carry a payload of 3 kg.
