The Armed Forces of Ukraine won the Russian Tornado-G anti-aircraft missile system in Izyum

Last week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted a brilliant counteroffensive operation in Kharkiv Oblast. The Ukrainian army managed to make the occupiers flee. They left behind a lot of equipment and BC.

In Izyum, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to ‘trophy’ the enemy’s Tornado-G anti-aircraft missile system. Information about this appeared in the ‘StratCom ZSU’ Telegram channel. The Russian system was called by the authors of the publication ‘Katsap RSZV’ and ‘an interesting trophy specimen’.

Tornado-G anti-aircraft missile defense system is a modernized MB-21 Grad. Russian designers increased the level of automation of the installation. As a result, the time for its deployment and preparation for fire was significantly reduced.

Only two people are needed to service Tornado-G. Topo-geodetic preparation for firing is not required. In terms of effectiveness, the modernized RSZV exceeds the BM-21 by three times.
