The Bayraktar production plant will be built in a few months

In 2023, Baykar Tech plans to build a UAV production plant in Ukraine. This became known from the Ukrainian ambassador Vasyl Bodnar, who works in Turkey.

“The construction itself may take several months, and the start of the plant may be in 2023, perhaps at the end,” Bondar said.

He also added that despite the process of ratification of the agreement on the construction of the plant, Baykar Makina is already starting preparatory work in order to start construction.

“Of course, there are some nuances related to the import of certain equipment and the choice of a construction company, but these are technical details. I hope that in the coming months we will see some progress in this matter,” Bodnar said.

Bodnar noted that the relevant agreement on the construction of the plant is still pending ratification by the Verkhovna Rada, but the owner of the Baykar Makina company has already started preparatory work on the construction of the plant.

In particular, the company purchased a plot of land and made a project of the plant itself, as well as created and registered the corresponding Ukrainian company.

Bodnar expressed his belief that Ukrainian citizens will see the result within a few months. There is a high probability that the new enterprise will start assembling aircraft next year.
