The Belarusian Defense Ministry does not even know what nuclear bombs for their Su-25 look like

Belarus, following Russia, also announced its nuclear exercises with weapons it received from the Kremlin a year ago, but something went wrong immediately.

Immediately after the Kremlin announced the start of exercises with tactical nuclear weapons, Minsk hastened to take similar steps with the weapons of mass destruction that they received from the racists last year.

And as the Belarusian Defense Ministry reported, the troops have begun training with Iskander missile systems and Su-25 attack aircraft, which Minsk calls nuclear weapons carriers. The reason for the installation of nuclear special munitions on this aircraft, which was not intended for this purpose, is the result of a conversation between Putin and Lukashenko, who were confused about the names of the aircraft, but the leader of the racists said it was a Su-25. As a result, this particular subsonic attack aircraft was, according to official statements, converted to a nuclear bomb carrier, despite the fact that this turns the Su-25 and its pilot into a disposable vehicle.

But now it turns out that the Belarusian Defense Ministry simply doesn’t know what aircraft nuclear bombs look like. Because in the released video of the Su-25 allegedly carrying them, the Belarusians “washed out” absolutely nothing. In particular, in one of the shots, ordinary suspended fuel tanks were censored, not bombs located on other points of suspension.

And in the next shot from a different angle, they decided not to cover the Su-25 payload at all. And because of this, you can clearly see what kind of bombs he is carrying.

And we are talking about munitions that are definitely not nuclear. The exact identification of the ammunition suspended under the wing is quite difficult, but we can assume that it is a container (cluster) type bomb, possibly an AGITAB-500. But it is definitely not a nuclear bomb.

And even a training nuclear airplane bomb has a completely different design of the wings. In particular, the standard nuclear aircraft bomb in Russia is the RN-40 with a yield of 30 kt, and its practical model is the IAB-500, which is filled with kerosene and detonated to create a visual imitation of a nuclear mushroom.

And in this situation, it’s not just that the Belarusian Su-25 was fitted with the wrong ammunition, but that the Belarusian Defense Ministry doesn’t even know what it looks like and has “covered” the wrong thing on the footage. At the same time, VoenTV is a departmental publication of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense, and the material was subject to many approvals before it was released.

At the same time, it should be noted that Belarus has regular nuclear warheads. And we are talking not only about the Iskander, but also about Su-30SM fighters. At the same time, these aircraft have never been listed as nuclear weapons carriers in the air force of Belarus, which has four such aircraft in service.
