The first Renault Twingo Z.E. has been brought to Ukraine. It is the most affordable electric car of the French brand on the European market. The electric car is built on the Smart platform

Most third-generation Renault Twingos are gasoline-powered, but in 2021 the model lineup was expanded to include an electric version. This is not surprising, since the model is built on the Smart platform, and this German brand has completely switched to electric cars. That is, the power plant did not have to be developed.

The car has a range of 190 km. The Renault Twingo Z.E. electric car is equipped with an 82-horsepower engine on the rear axle. It can reach 135 km/h and accelerate to 100 km/h in 12.6 seconds. The battery of the Renault Twingo Z.E. is slightly larger than that of the related Smart, with a capacity of 22 kWh. The claimed range is 190 km.

The Twingo comes with climate control, cruise control, and a rearview camera. The compact 3.6-meter electric car Renault Twingo Z.E. belongs to the A-class. The hatchback is visually almost indistinguishable from the gasoline version – it is only the redesigned front end that gives it away.

In Europe, the new Renault Twingo Z.E. costs from 24,165 euros. The car’s equipment includes climate control, cruise control, a rearview camera, heated seats, rain and light sensors.
