The Chinese showed an updated version of the advanced stealth drone CH-7

China’s Aerospace CH UAV Co Ltd has successfully completed testing of the advanced CH-7 drone, expecting it to be fully operational by the end of 2024. The CH-7 drone is scheduled to be unveiled at Airshow China 2024, which will take place from November 12 to 17, 2024, in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.

This drone was first shown at a similar exhibition in 2018, arousing great interest among professionals and the public. In 2022, an updated version adapted to military requirements was presented.

The new CH-7 has an increased wingspan of 26 meters, which is 4 meters more than the first version. The drone is capable of reaching an altitude of 15 km, unlike its predecessor, which could only climb to 5 km. These characteristics allow it to be used for long-term reconnaissance and surveillance. The maximum takeoff weight of the drone is 10 tons, which gives it the ability to carry large missiles and perform other military tasks.

The developers also claim that the CH-7 can remain invisible to radar and effectively counter enemy anti-aircraft firepower and electronic warfare.
