The North American company Heatbit brought to the market a heater capable of mining digital currency. The device boasts an original design, low noise level and compact dimensions.
According to the stated specification, the power of the device is 1.4 kW. It is enough to heat a room with an area of 46 ‘squares’. When mining bitcoins, the heater produces up to 14 TH/s. If it works around the clock, then the monthly income from mining will be 30 USD. At maximum power, the noise level of the heater does not exceed 42 dB.
The branded mobile applet allows you to manage the settings of the household appliance. In addition, it can be used to monitor the amount of cryptocurrency mined. You can buy a heater in the USA for 1,199 USD. A representative of the company told the Coindesk correspondent that in the medium term, Heatbit plans to bring to the market other household appliances with a mining function, such as dishwashers and water heaters.
