On Saturday morning, the first satellite images were published online after the Ukrainian troops attacked the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in occupied Sevastopol.

Satellite imagery from Planet Labs shows the area from September 21 and September 22, when the strike was carried out. The photo shows that the building is seriously damaged. Smoke and damage were visible even from space.

As you know, the day before, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck at the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the successful operation, while the Special Operations Forces reported that the strike was carried out when the Russian Navy command was holding a meeting at the headquarters. The exact number of dead and wounded is still unknown. However, according to the head of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, at least 9 people were killed during the operation, including high-ranking officers. At least 16 more occupants were wounded.
