Foxconn’s car line has been supplemented with a compact city hatchback and a pickup truck. The production of electric cars can be established for an enterprise in the USA.

Foxconn is expanding its car line. The Taiwanese IT giant, which produces iPhones for Apple, has shown two more electric models of its Foxtron brand. They will be presented to the public on October 18, according to Foxconn’s Twitter page.

Foxtron Model B was designed by Pininfarina

The compact Foxtron Model B is a small city car that combines features of a hatchback and a crossover. Its design was developed in the famous Italian atelier Pininfarina. The electric car has short overhangs and thin diode headlights and lights for the entire width of the body.

Foxtron Model V electric pickup was developed in its design studio. It came out very streamlined and with a plug in place of the radiator grille. The size of the car can be compared with Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok.

The characteristics of Foxconn cars are not revealed, but the presented models are built on a platform that supports power up to 750 hp, and the range is about 700 km.

Foxconn also helped develop the Luxgen n7 electric crossover. It is also able to travel 700 km without recharging, but not as powerful – 408 hp.

The production of Foxtron cars will not be established in Taiwan, but in the USA – a factory has already been purchased for this purpose. In addition to passenger cars, Foxconn also produces electric buses.

Focus previously reported that Nissan is preparing a compact electric car for 20,000 euros with a range of up to 400 km.
