The ‘Kyiv Digital’ application now allows you to track the movement of public transport on the city map
In the new version of the city application “Kyiv Digital” the service “Transport traffic” has appeared, which allows you to track the movement of city transport and find out the exact time of its arrival, so as not to waste time at stops, reports the press service of the KMDA.
The new functionality complements the “Kyiv Digital” system of digital services for city transport, where you can also top up a transport card and buy QR-tickets. To take advantage of the new service, select “Traffic” in the “City transport” section – there users can find about 3,000 stops and more than 100 routes of buses, trolleybuses and trams. In addition to the map of stops, the application also offers search.
With the help of the “Traffic Movement” service, you can:
- find the necessary stops and routes;
- track traffic on the map;
- view the time of arrival of the vehicle at the stop and its license plate number;
- find out about transfers to other transport at bus stops;
- save stops and routes as favorites for quick access.
The service is integrated with the information and analytical system “Maino” and the system of city stops and routes of public ground transport belonging to KP “Kyivpastrans”. This is the first service of the “Kyiv Digital” application, which the team of KP “GIOC” launched in the beta version. Developers encourage users to leave feedback and suggestions for further improvement of functionality.
Today, the “Kyiv Digital” application is used by more than one and a half million citizens. The updated version with the “Traffic Movement” service can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
